Progress!








Track Record with Judges

So, I heard from the lawyer yesterday.  There are all sorts of "firsts" happening here.  This is the first time that the paperwork has not been received at the judges' desk for review.   This is the first time the courts have misunderstood the need in the request to review. Blah, blah, blah, then I was told that the lawyer is being told that the judge is on vacation this week.

 

For those of you who know me, my track record with waiting on a judge to rule is not good.  In 2000 when I went to small claims court on the condo the judge took my case under advisement and then was murdered.  Yes, you read that right; she was murdered before she could make a ruling on the case.

 

I wonder if this judge is still alive.

The tiny house table

And an update call from the lawyer. Waiting on the judge to sign off on the order however he's out of office this week. So we wait. Some more ...

Why I need to learn patience… THIS is the timeline – with names and case numbers removed to not shed bad light on the foreclosed upon couple (who I did Facebook stalk by the way!)

 

Do you see this???  Florida law specifies that the parties have to be three months in arrears of payment before proceedings can be initiated… so the REAL date is noted at the bottom.
