Day - 7 - Juneau

Room with a view. This is the view from the balcony. 

Some sort of water bird that was fun to watch coming and going during breakfast. 

I also enjoyed watching the tenders going back and forth. This was the only port where we had to use tenders to go in and out. When we went to Honduras and places south we used tenders quite a bit. 

And watched some big yachts going back and forth as well 

Look at this beautiful fruit salad!!

We happened to meet up with Linda and Mike on the tender. It was not planned but it was welcomed. We were both going to the tram. And the tram didn’t disappoint!!

Day - 6 - Skagway

What am I taking a picture of?  There is a seal in there. Somewhere. I couldn’t find him again. I thought I saw it but maybe not. 

I think that’s his head there just to the left of the darkened water.

Snow mover. They said they no longer use these type and just shove it out of the way. 

The tickets for the train were $179 pp on the boat and $100 pp off boat granted the boat one was a 5 hour tour. Ours was 2 hrs and 45 minutes. It was good enough. We had a great time in the train. It didn’t stop in Canada. We went to the top and turned around. 







The OLD tracks with a huge gap in them. Something disconcerting about seeing the gap as you’re coming around the corner. 

The snowmelt on ice was such a pretty shade of blue!



AND we got to see the bear that has been further down the mountain on our way up. He was cute. Glad he didn’t charge the train!!

Someone said he was a two/three year old baby. 



Back at port. 

Sunny in the balcony. Enough so that I took a nap out there. 

9:30pm
