I got up, got moving. Went to the market. Bought some GREAT looking artichokes and a few other veggies and some fresh breads. Then wandered home. Butch wasn’t ready you go anywhere so I went out and went searching. I finally went to the antique store in Boblingen. I guess it’s not really an antique store but a flea maker shop. Flohmarkthaus.
It was quite a good one but nothing I was going to purchase today. They did have some fun art for good prices. Again. Nothing I wanted to purchase. Well that’s a lie, but nothing I was going to purchase today.
So. I walked through and went to the NEXT stop. A used furniture store. femos Möbelhalle, non-profit GmbH It wasn’t what I expected and had some household goods in there as well. Interesting but not anything I was looking for and definitely nothing I would purchase. Goodwill level items for sure. It was a good morning.
When I got home I found a message from someone I had been in contact with in Facebook market place about some pots.
I LOVED all the color and there were 37 of them. What?? Yep 37 come to find out there were actually 39 of them. I paid €30 for them. What?? Yes less than €1 each. I bit. I said we would come get them today. I fully thought they were plastic until I got there. Nope. They were all ceramic. SCORE!
Why do I need 39 pots? I don’t really!!
I have lots of plant that will have babies soon. I have the pathos plant babies that are currently rooting in the kitchen. I also have one of those at work as well. I also have the starts from my spider plants that will eventually have starts of their own.
So. I have a bunch of pots. :)
After that we went to the golf course to drop off some stuff for Butch. While there was eve were encouraged too go to a wine and food fest in Stuttgart instead of Boblingen.
So we went! It was goodness wine and good food.
I had an odd summer salad with werst, onions, dill pickles and vinegar. Sound weird? Well it was and it wasn’t. It was good but way too much meat. Butch had a roast with spetzle.
Even good live music and a few other entertainment options.
