The bunnies are gone..

I went to check the bunny nest today as it has been a week and they’re gone!  Good bye little guys!  Good luck!!

The nest wasn’t that deep so I would venture to guess at most there were three babies in there. Maybe four of they really squished. Hopefully they will use the nesting area again in the future. I rather enjoyed watching them. I think next time I would invest in a game cam to watch them from a distance. 

Bunnies, kitties and a dresser

On May 3rd we took pictures of the bunnies I discovered in the flower bed out back. Sooooo cute. The girls really enjoyed getting a peek at them as well. They are still petitioning me to KEEP one and make it a pet. Although it sounds tempting. I’ll pass. I love seeing little ones running around!!

I love my ferns!  They are beautiful on the back porch!

1 week later. May 11th. Adorable!  I think there are three total in there. Not sure. But also don’t want to pull them out to confirm. 


This little turd got a little jumpy and jumped OUT of the nest but, thankfully there is a box around them so he didn’t jump all the way out-out. He did run into the opposite corner!!

In other news a LONG awaited bookshelf. We ordered this in January!  I’m glad we waited. I like the fit!

With goodies ON it… I’m sure we will rework this a few times before we’re happy with it. 

On the 13th, yes Friday the 13th I agreed to meet Elizabeth at IKEA in ATL. It was a pretty drive.

Saturday rolled around and I had to take Liz’s bookshelves to her. Yep she went to IKEA with NO room in her car. Silly girl!  Butch had offered to help her clean her driveway. 

I only took videos of the driveway no photos for here… but I stayed on the porch and/or in the house. I got to nap with the kitties :)  even Ash sat in the chair next to us. 

Sunday (today) was my day to get stuff done.  I started to build my dresser!  I have waited for this to be back in stock for a while!  I wasn’t confident it was really there as they said it was there last time as well and it wasn’t - that time. This time I was lucky!!

And so begins the adventure!

Took an hour out to have a coffee on the porch. 

And finally wandered out to check on my newly planted Lilies!  They are bright and beautiful!

I have a few that should bloom soon along with some other lilies in there!

Elephant ears are coming in strong. I even gave some away as well. 

Some amaryllis that are late bloomers. 

Oh and the finished dresser.
